Linear sliding bearings include linear guidance systems, roller guidance systems, optical axis and linear ball bearing guidance systems, flat cage guidance systems, linear recirculating ball or roller guidance systems and drive units(actuators and worktables). The slide rail is composed of a support rail, an optical axis and multiple sliders. The optical axis is mounted on the support rail to ensure maximum strength and rigidity throughout the operation.

Linear sliding bearings are linear positioning bearings with unlimited stroke length. These linear guidance systems may be miniature sliding guidance systems, Permaglide linear sliding bearings and Permaglide linear sliding bearing units, and flat panel guidance systems. The micro sliding guide system includes a guide rail/slider system and a maintenance-free sliding laye; the Permaglide linear plain bearing unit is a low-maintenance bushing installed in a light metal ring; The flat guide system is a guide system for sliding layers with extremely low maintenance requirements on the guide rails.

The sliding bearing refers to a bearing that works under sliding friction, and has the characteristics of smooth operation, reliability, noiselessness, high precision, low heat generation, high speed, high rigidity and so on. Common materials for manufacturing sliding bearings are bearing alloys, wear-resistant cast iron, copper-based and aluminum-based alloys, powder metallurgy materials, plastics, rubber, hardwood and carbon, graphite, PTEF, modified POM, etc. Plain bearings mainly include linear plain bearings, thrust plain bearings, radial plain bearings, lubricated plain bearings, grease-lubricated plain bearings, water-lubricated plain bearings, gas plain bearings, solid-lubricated plain bearings, etc.

Applications: Plain bearings are mainly used in the fields of automobiles, rolling mills, mining machinery, metallurgical industry, plastic manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, paper industry, machine tool processing, electronic machinery, printing machinery, packaging machinery and so on.

The plastic linear bearing is a self-lubricating linear bearing. The biggest difference between the plastic linear bearing and the metal linear bearing is that: the metal linear bearing is rolling friction, it is point contact between the bearing and the shaft, suitable for low-load high-speed movement; while the plastic linear bearing is sliding friction, it is surface contact between the bearing and the shaft, suitable for high load and low speed movement.

Plastic linear bearing shafts have no special requirements for shafts. It can be withstand greater loads than metal sliding bearings. The motion resistance of plastic linear bearings is greater than that of the metal linear bearing due to the sliding friction between the bearing and the shaft. That is the plastic linear bearing can achieve a limited speed of movement. However, the motion noise is lower than that of the metal linear bearing which is very little affected by the speed, especially at medium and high speeds. There is a chip flute design on the inner wall of the plastic linear bearings, so it can be used in dusty places. Dust is automatically discharged from the chip chute during the movement. Cleaning can be done during operation for plastic linear bearings. Further more, the internal sliding film of plastic bearings made of special materials can even run in liquid for a long time.
