Plastic ball bearing is a kind of precise mechanical component that changes the sliding friction between the shaft and the housing bore into rolling friction. It reduces the energy loss because of friction. Rolling bearings are generally composed of four parts: inner ring, outer ring, rolling elements and cage. The inner ring is to cooperate with the shaft and rotate together with the shaft; the outer ring is to cooperate with the hosing hole as a support; the rolling element is evenly distributed by the cage between the inner ring and the outer ring, its shape, size and quantity directly affect the performance and life of the rolling bearing; the cage is to evenly distribute the rolling elements, prevent the rolling elements from falling off and guide the rolling elements to rotate to achieve rolling lubrication between shaft and housing.

Function:

Plastic ball bearing are used to support the shaft and parts on the shaft, and maintain the normal working position and rotation accuracy of the shaft. Rolling bearings are easy to use and maintain, work reliably, star up smoothly, high carrying capacity at medium speeds. Compared with the sliding bearing, the required radial size is larger with poor vibration damping capacity, low life at high speed and much more noise.

Plastic ball bearing structure:

1. The outer ring----Installed inside the housing,no movement usually;

2. Inner ring----Installed on the journal and rotate with the shaft;

3. Rolling element----The core element of rolling bearing;

4. Cage-Evenly separate the rolling elements to avoid friction from each other;

At present, the lubricant is also considered as the fifth component of the rolling bearing, which mainly plays the role of lubrication, cooling and cleaning.
