How should EPB bearings be selected for high-temperature conditions, and which grades are recommended for different temperature ranges?

EPB materials are divided into five temperature tiers: 80°C general-purpose, 130°C, 150-180°C, 200°C, and 250°C. Selection must consider continuous service temperature, not only instantaneous peak temperature. Within 80°C general scenarios: EPB, EPB6; -40~130°C medium temperature: EPB3, with strong versatility for medium-high loads; 150°C: EPB19, suitable for high-temperature high-load oscillation; 180°C: EPB23 (FDA food-grade), EPB25; 200°C level: EPB4, EPB8, EPB21, EPB24, also with V0 flame retardancy and chemical media resistance; 250°C extreme high temperature: EPB5, EPB5Z, EPB10. EPB5Z can withstand edge loads, is compatible with both soft and hard shafts, and allows relatively high operating speeds; EPB10 combines high chemical resistance and is also suitable for dust and underwater high-speed applications. High temperature reduces material load capacity. As temperature rises, the material softens and allowable load decreases, so the PV value must be derated. EPB23 is a rare grade that is both 180°C capable and FDA compliant, used in high-temperature food machinery; EPB24 is for automotive fuel systems and resists fuel media at 200°C. High-temperature installation notes: account for thermal expansion differences between housing bore and shaft, and use H7/h9 standard fit tolerances; if adhesive is used, it must be a high-temperature adhesive resistant to the same temperature, and actual working condition testing must be completed.
